Had lunch with Erin, Hailey, Kathy, Deborah and (oops, not a girl!) Zachary, today. I got to Mimi's and was shaking. Had a feeling this would be tough for me. This group has been with me for the last 2 years, sharing the best and worst times of my life, and knowing exactly how I felt when I'd say "that's it! No more statistics! I can't take it anymore!"
I thought I was doing ok with saying goodbye and getting through this week. However, I made it home, and started crying, and haven't really stopped since. I close my eyes and see all their faces, and think about holding Hailey, and the tears start all over.
Actually, now that I think about it, the tears started last night. Not over saying goodbye to anyone, but while watching Dog the Bounty Hunter. How silly am I?
I still have a lot to get done before Sunday. Right now I'm waiting on Maria to stop by, so I can go through another goodbye. In a lot of ways though...it still doesn't feel real. At least the girls were cheerful at lunch though. Erin kept telling me I'll be fine, and it'll be fun and that she was excited for me, and Deborah reminded me that it could only be two years and not three if I want to come back after I've finished my classes.

Christmas
I went ahead and booked a flight home for the holidays. If all goes well with my new job, I'll fly home December 15th, a Saturday, and go back to PA, on Thursday, Jan. 10th. Almost a whole month at home. And the best part is, only $218 for the roundtrip.

t-minus one week
Thanks to Kathy, I think I have a way people can keep in touch with me, without me being stuck to the phone, or sending 50 seperate emails. At least, that's if this all works like I think it should.
I leave in a week. It still doesn't feel real, except that I'm really dreading this next week and hate knowing that it's Sunday, and tomorrow is Monday...and I have a lot of people to see and a lot of things to finish doing. Like packing...ugh.
Anyhow, today is about dinner with my parents and Kathy and Kim. Before dinner though...I know I SHOULD be packing, but I probably will end up taking a nap, since Dad is snoozing now and it's making me tired. Plus, I haven't slept very well the last 2 nights.
