oh yeah...
my friend Kathy is doing her thesis defense tomorrow, I'm so happy for her. It's such a relief to have it almost be over. And my friend Kim is having surgery on Friday to remove a baseball sized cyst in her ovary. All this time she's had cramps they told her it was diverticulitis (I know I probably spelled it wrong Sarah). Wish I could be there to support them both.

My word Julie, who called you at 3:30! Glad you got a star so to speak from your new teacher. Sounds like you are adding people to your friend list. OK here. We went shopping yesterday, got a couple of large pictures for my bedroom, some kitchen stuff and groceries. Peepaw got glue, he is working on another guitar. Ate at Home Town Buffet. Almost dark when we got home.
Are you beginning to feel settled and at home there yet? Hope your friend gets through the surgery ok. Love, Meemaw and Peepaw
Good luck to Kim & Kathy, hope Kim's surgery goes well, I'll keep her in my prayers. BTW, I think you spelled diverticulitis right.
