Tonight I'm going out to Blue Spruce Park to see the Festival of Lights with Jen and Andrew. We're going to walk if we can stand the cold. I can't wait. I love christmas lights. Then we'll be playing Life and watching a christmas movie. Sunday I'm going with them and a few other grad students from the other years ahead of me, to see Beowulf (which I don't really care to see, but socializing is cool), and then dinner at the Ironwood Grill, which I happen to really like.
I have to finish my paper, do an article review, and have a take home final for stats...other than that, it's studying for my theory final. I'm almost done. Almost completed my first semester in the PhD program...and I would say it is all pretty much a downhill slope from here.
Little worried I gave a man the wrong idea...he's in the grad program too...but he's like 45...and I don't know why, but I think I flirted with him. He's going to the movie on Sunday and just emailed me to see if I would meet there 15 minutes early. I'm wondering if that was meant just for me or what. Guess I can try to get some info from Jen. Puts me in an awkward spot though.
They say chance of snow all next week. The low tonight could get in the low teens. I'm doing okay though. I should get ready to head over to Jen's though. 2 more weeks and I'm home again. Yay!

Julie, sorry we didn't get to see you this last trip but surely will at Christmas. You are having a world of new experiences. You will know snow by winters end huh. I watch the weather reports every day where you are. OK here, we have been dumping out the house, Peepaw has made two recent pickup load trips to the good will. Things are looking better haha. In closets and drawers anyway.We press on today with that project. Hope you had a good trip getting home and back. Sounds like you are getting school under control.We talked to Wendell one day. Got a lot of the news.We await Keithens little baby between now and Christmas. He says only one child for them, they want to help control world population he says. Our family Christmas party is at Keevans on Saturday the 22nd at 6 pm this year, only time Johnny can get home. You will be getting an invitation today or tomorrow. When will you be leaving to come home? Will Sarahs family be here for Christmas or all going out there? It is supposed to be sunny and 75 today so I hope to do some things outside this afternoon.
